Amen Thompson Under 2.5 Steals+blocks
Amen’s role on this team has led him away from a focus on steals and blocks. He is a ball handler who focuses on playing perimeter defense. Throughout this series we have seen that he has been unable to grab multiple steals or blocks. With this golden state team we have seen him being pushed out to the perimeter where he is able to pressure the offense to move away from him. Golden state also excels at preventing steals as they are the 8 best in the league at this.
Luis Severino Over 17.5 outs
Luis Severino over the last 5 games has shown he consistently can pass this number with only the exception of when he was at a high pitch count against the mets. His last outing against the Rangers has him pitch 21 outs against this team which has struggled as a bottom ten team with hitting and getting on base. I expect Severino to continue his trend and complete his 6 innings.
Nathan Eovaldi under 5.5 Hits allowed
Nathan has been off to a great start this season for the rangers. Over his last 8 outings he has stayed under 6 hits allowed and kept a 2.2 ERA. He is going against an Athletics team that has been hitting well so this will be a good test to his efficiency as he has shown to keep multiple top ten hitting teams under 6 hits.
